5.25" Made by Abbey England, this is a high quality, solid bit, made with the lost wax casting method for a lovely warm glow to the stainless steel.
Comes with curb hooks and chain.
This bit has a thin solid bar with a gentle curve both upward and slightly forward. This shape of mouthpiece is commonly known as the Glory bit in the US. These bits are all stainless.
5" size has small butterfly loops to avoid getting snared on a shaft end, which can be a concern when driving a straight shaft vehicle such as a road cart, or meadowbrook. Not an issue with marathon shafts.
